Bio

Joan Franka (Rotterdam, 1990), is a Dutch singer-songwriter. Her career took off when she was a candidate on the first edition of The Voice in 2010. She was a contestant of the Eurovision Song contest in 2012 and after she scored her first number one single, she took herself away from the spotlight.

She went off to study music at the Herman Brood Academy and performed as her alias Luba The Baroness, the project she graduated with in 2017.

The music she created together with Marnix Wilmink (45ACIDBABIES, The Mauskovic Dance Band) was recorded at the Electrosaurus Southern Sound Studio of Pablo van der Poel (deWolff).

Her debut album will be released in October 2019.
